02 Nov Driving Innovation Nissan’s Easy-Fill Tire Alert System
Most cars will send an alert when the tire pressure drops below the set point. What most cars will not do, is send an alert when the tire is being filled and the right pressure is achieved. Nissan’s Easy-Fill Tire Alert System takes the guesswork out of tire inflating. Once the air starts filling the tire, the exterior lights will flash to indicate that the system is monitoring the fill. As soon as the correct pressure is achieved, the horn will sound. Too much pressure, and the horn will sound again and the hazard lights will flash three times. An alert that some air should be released. After releasing some air and the right pressure is achieved, the horn will sound. What could be easier than that? Properly inflated tires is safer, will extend the life of the tires and will help to save on fuel consumption.
