The Green Road – Aerodynamics

25 Oct The Green Road – Aerodynamics

Aerodynamics studies how air flows around and inside objects. When designing and building a car, how the air flows around and through the body via its openings is crucial as it takes energy to move the car through the air and energy impacts fuel consumption. The slippery shape of a sports car makes it move more easily though the air, making it more efficient. The 2018 Toyota Prius, while not a sports car, is a perfect example of a slippery shape and it goes a long way to making it a very efficient vehicle.
